Congenital rubella syndrome - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congenital_rubella_syndrome

My mother had German Measles at 3 months pregnancy with me. Yes, I have Congenital rubella syndrome (CRS), but it is very mild. It has affected me in a variety of ways, though not as severe as it has on other "rubies", ( a nickname we have given ourselves ).
I've come to find out that some of it's affects can be hidden, or lurking for years, sometimes not showing up until you are in your 30's or 40's. I was told by a doctor that it can affect the entire physiology of your body in a variety of ways.
Despite some of the curses of this disease, you can find some small blessings hidden in it.
Congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) is something that can still happen to this day, and is still happening, though not as often.
