speaking up about organic milk

I  just took action to strengthen the organic milk label.

The US Department of Agriculture's (USDA) organic rules require that animals have access to pasture, but the rules have loopholes that result in some agribusiness confining dairy cows indoors.  The USDA has refused to close this blatant loophole despite recommendations from organic farmers and consumers.  Many organic supporters believe strong and specific pasture standards are needed to ensure “organic” means something.  And consumer surveys show strong support for real standards.  Tell the USDA to adopt real standards to ensure the organic label means something!
