Google Fiber for Communities: Project Overview

I can see so many implications if this works:
1. using it for entertainment ( TV, Movies, Streaming Audio ).
2. education ( taking classes online, attending lectures and seminars virtually ).
3. shopping: I think the online shopping experience would be much approved.
4. working from home: this would open up a whole new world for those that are disabled or homebound, or just for those that want to work from home.
5. Better contact with family, friends, employers, businesses, etc... .
6. Perhaps even having virtual house-calls with your Doctor.

I believe the list could go on and on. Feel free to add to the list.
